London Girls

Girls are weird creatures.

One walks past, you look at her physically (thats kinda automatic, really) and you judge her. Normally I think 'Atkins would sort you out love' or 'a miracle and a plastic surgeon couldn't fix you pet' or 'Fuck me, you're stunning'.

See, various things on the girl can change one's opinion. Girls are smart creatures, gotta give them credit. They make do with what they got. They're like chameleons. A small thing like a pair of knee-high leather boots and a smart suit with a skirt is all it could take to get a bloke wanting her in his arms.

There's a lot of talk of people flirting on Public Transport - and from the 6 weeks of employment in London, I can see exactly what people are talking about. People can get away with eyeing each other up because they know chances are they wont see that person ever again!

Goo Goo Dolls - currently can't stop listening to them. I blame the concert in Manchester a few weeks ago. I had a very good time! Have since got a few of the CD's now - need to buy more!

I'll leave you with a thought...

If you are honest with yourself - at the end of a relationship, what was it you missed the most?

Oh, and one thing...

erm, in case you lot don't know....

:)

today

hey all.

Today, having had 5 hours of sleep, I decided to hire a van to bring a glass table from a friends house. Its a cool table, and will do a perfect job in the future. Having driven the 'Disco' for TfL, the LWB Transit was pretty similar, just a fun. White van man Firas on the M25 is a bad thing!

Over the last few months a thought has entered my mind, and has since routed and flourished. The idea of teaching English to those in the Occupied Terretories of Palestine. I dreamt one evening, of teaching a class of young Palestinian kids ENglish, in order to help them build a half decent life for themselves.

The dream turned sour, and i'm pretty sure i woke up crying in the middle of the night. No doubt, I'll have that dream again - but having spent 5 minutes online, (google is my friend) I've found 5 volunteer sites, providing food & accomodation for UK holding citizens to go over and teach.

The idea appeals to me.

A few questions are rasised from it, like security, but time will tell where this thought goes.

Driving a discovery in Central London for work is very fun

Drove around (on my own) in a Land Rover Discovery all afternoon. So much fun. Stalled it about 5 times in the car park, that clutch was a fecking nightmare. However, much can be said about the ride height and the power of that deisel engine.

yum yum
